Wuji (“we”) operates the Wuji tvOS app, the Wuji Incense iOS and iPadOS companion app, and this website. This policy describes how we handle information across all of them.

Data Not Collected

We do not collect, store, or transmit your personal data. The Wuji apps are designed with privacy in mind:

• No accounts. You do not sign in or create an account.
• No analytics or tracking. We do not use analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking.
• No data collection. We do not gather identifiers, usage data, or contact information.
• No third-party services. The apps do not contact any external server or API.

Because we do not collect personal data, there is no separate privacy choices or data management page; this policy describes our practices in full.

Data Stored on Your Device

Preferences you set in either app (for example, meditation duration, soundscape choice, or pack selection) are stored only on the device you set them on — your Apple TV for the Wuji tvOS app, or your iPhone or iPad for Wuji Incense. We do not have access to this data, and it is not synced or backed up to any server we control. Deleting the app removes it.

Apple Music (Wuji tvOS only)

If you use Apple Music playback in the Wuji tvOS app, the app will request Apple Music permission. Playback uses your existing Apple Music subscription and is subject to Apple’s terms and privacy policy. We do not receive or store your Apple Music usage or account data. Wuji Incense does not use Apple Music.

Device Motion (Wuji Incense only)

Wuji Incense reads your iPhone or iPad’s motion sensors in real time to animate the on-screen incense smoke in response to small movements of the device. This motion data is used only for the current frame’s animation — it is never stored, logged, or transmitted. iOS will show a one-time permission prompt the first time you start a meditation; you can revoke this permission at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Motion & Fitness. The app continues to work if motion access is denied; the smoke simply does not respond to device movement.

Audio Playback (Wuji Incense)

Wuji Incense plays optional soundscape audio (rain, forest, etc.) from local files bundled with the app. No audio is recorded or uploaded. The app is configured to mix with other audio playing on your device, so apps like Spotify or Apple Music continue to play when Wuji Incense is open; we do not access or analyze what those other apps are playing.

Children

The Wuji apps are suitable for all ages and do not collect any information from anyone, including children under 13.

This Website

This static website does not use cookies, analytics, or forms that submit data to us. If you contact us by email (via a link you open yourself), we will use your email only to respond. We do not add you to mailing lists unless you ask.

Changes to this Policy

If this policy changes, the effective date above will be updated. Since the apps collect no data, future changes are likely to be small clarifications rather than substantive shifts.
